ଆମ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ପରିସରରେ ୭୭ତମ ସ୍ଵାଧୀନତା ଦିବସ ଖୁବ୍ ଆଡମ୍ବରର ସହିତ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଶ୍ରୀ ଅଶୋକ କୁମାର ଶତପଥୀଙ୍କ ପୌରହିତ୍ୟ ରେ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା।
ସବୁ ବର୍ଷ ପରି ସକାଳେ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ପ୍ରଭାତ ଫେରିରେ ଯୋଗ ଦାନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ପରିସରରେ ଜାତୀୟ ପତାକା ଉତୋଳନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ସ୍ଵାଧୀନତା ଦିବସ ଅବସରରେ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଚିତ୍ତାକର୍ଷକ ପ୍ୟାରେଡ ସହିତ ଏକ ଫ୍ୟାନ୍ସି ଡ୍ରେସ୍ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ମଧ୍ୟ ଆୟୋଜନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ହୋଇଥିବା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ରେ କୃତିତ୍ୱ ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଥିବା ଛାତ୍ର ଛାତ୍ରୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ପୂରାତନ ଛାତ୍ର ସଂସଦ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯୋଗଦାନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ସବୁ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ କୁ ସୂଚାରୁ ରୂପେ ନିର୍ବାହ କରିଥିଲେ।

ବୃକ୍ଷ ହିଁ ଜୀବନ। ଗତ ୭ ତାରିଖ ଦିନ ବନ ମହୋତ୍ସବ ଅବସରରେ ଆମ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଇକୋ କ୍ଲବ, ପୂରାତନ ଛାତ୍ର ସଂସଦ ଏବଂ ଷ୍ଟେଟ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ଅଫ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ ସିଟି ବ୍ରାଞ୍ଚ, କଲେଜଛକ ର ମିଳିତ ଆନୁକୂଲ୍ୟରେ ବନ ମହୋତ୍ସବ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ଆମର ପ୍ରିୟ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଅଶୋକ କୁମାର ଶତପଥୀଙ୍କ ପୌରୋହିତ୍ୟ ରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ସମୂହ ବୃକ୍ଷରୋପଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କ୍ରମ ରେ ମାଧ୍ୟମିକ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପରିଷଦ ର ସମ୍ପାଦକ ସୁମିତା ସରକାର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ପୂରାତନ ଛାତ୍ର ସଂସଦର ସଭାପତି ରଞ୍ଜିତାଭ ମହାନ୍ତି, ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଅଶ୍ଵିନୀ ମହାନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଷ୍ଟେଟ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ମ୍ୟାନେଜର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଧର ସୁବୁଦ୍ଧି ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଯୋଗଦାନ କରି ଛାତ୍ର ଛାତ୍ରୀ, ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଶିକ୍ଷୟିତ୍ରୀ ଓ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବୃକ୍ଷରୋପଣ କରିଥିଲେ।

The seventh edition of Team Quizzard’s yearly premier quiz event, Synapse-The Junction of Qriosity, took place at Saheed Bhawan here on Sunday.
“Dambaruu – learning made fun” presented the event, which was powered by “FaarmB” and “Ruchi Tea”. In defiance of custom, Synapse continued its special Odia Quiz alongside the standard English edition for the second year in a row. The Odia quiz was offered to students from grades 7to 10 and the English quiz was for 7-12 from all around the state.
In the Odia and English Quiz, the winning teams for the Best Girls’ team were Hapili Pradhan and Priti Prajojita Sahoo of Kalinga Nodal Vidyapitha, Choudwar and Johanna Mohapatra, and Shree Jena of DAV Rajabagicha. Stewart School was the best participating school for the English quiz, while our school won it in the Odia quiz.
Ankit Kumar Swain and Koustav Kumar Sahoo of DAV Public School, CDA won the English Quiz. Tathagata Mondal and Adidev Dash of DPS Kalinga came in second whereas Divya Jyoti Senapati and Priyank Jena of DAV Public School, Unit-8 placed third. In a similar vein, Swayam Swaroop Dash and Mahesh Acharya of our school were named the winners of the Odia Quiz. Arman Swain and Chandrabhanu Rout of SSVM Markat Nagar Sec-9 , Jagannath Mallick and Satyajit Mohanty of our school respectively took the remaining two positions.

Following Chief Minister Sri Naveen Patnaik's appeal, Ministers, MLAs, Administrators and other people have adopted Government Schools under the MO SCHOOL initiative in the state. Panchayati Raj and Drinking water and Law Minister Sri Pratap Jena on 24 march announced adopting The Secondary Board High School, Cuttack
The Secondary Board High School, Cuttack's construction began in 1958 and in august 1959, the school began functioning. Sri Pratap Jena was a student of our school.

Mr. Bikash Kanungo, a former student of our school, who is a wing commander in the Indian Air Force, came to our school. The school's NCC commander welcomes him.
Every year, 25 NCC cadets from our school are allowed to attend the camp organized by Indian Air Ncc, they learn a lot there and also learn how to fly small planes, one NCC cadet of our school sits on the plane.
Every year on Independence Day and Republic Day, two groups from our school participate in the district parade, one of which is the N.C.C. troop and the other is the civil troop, the children of the civil troop wear our school uniforms and batches.
The uniqueness of our school is that it is the only school in Cuttack that has an Air Wing NCC, 50 children get the opportunity to join the ncc every year and every cadet gets an A grade certificate.

The uniqueness of our school is that our school has a gym, where students exercise sometimes,This multi gymnasium installed in our school in the year 2010. Presented by Odisha Cricket Association.
A memory of Narayan sir and Bhagirathi sir teaching students in the science lab of our school, now this science laboratory is going to take on a new form, work is underway to turn this laboratory into a smart laboratory through 'Mo School Abhiyan'.So that students can get better education.
The computer lab of our school was inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik. In the computer room of our school where Jyoti Didi and Sagarika Didi impart all their acquired education to the students and they put a smile on everyone's face.

momment for the students and teachers of our school and the alumni,that day the school's
golden jubilee was celebrated with great enthusiasm.Many awards were presented along with
many cultural events.The meeting was attended by Hon'ble chief minister Sri Naveen Patnaik, Sri Pratap Jena, Sri Debashish Samantaray and others.The golden jubilee was organized by the old student association.
